What did Kelly Aerospace need:
When capturing a non-stock sales order line or purchase order line the client required a facility to browse the quote non-stock items from the stock code field.
The Solution:
A scripting solution was implemented to present the browse screen and return the stock code, description, product class and list price (a custom field defined against the quote non-stock table). This scripting allowed the client to achieve the desired consistency when capturing non-stock details.
